This page contains some supplemental information to the general terms and conditions that are specific to Internet Service provided by bright.net. The bright.net Ohio office will be closed for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The office may also close early for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Billing
Monthly statements are sent out within the first 3-5 days of each month. The statement is for the current month's service and any overtime incurred the previous month. Payment is due by the 14th of each month. All unpaid balances 30 days and greater will be assessed a $2.00 late fee. Accounts that are 30 days past due are subject to suspension of service. Accounts that are deemed uncollectable will be submitted to an agency for collection.

Packages
bright.net USA currently offers three monthly service packages.

Our 20 hour package is $14.95/month with a $1.00/hour overtime charge.
The Unlimited package is $17.95, $19.95 or $21.95, depending on the area you live in.

Each package includes the following:

Free time between Midnight and 8:00 a.m. for those on the 20 hour package. New customers get the first 30 days free, software and activation are free, each user gets 25 MB of space for a personal web page, MyMail Spam and Virus filtering free, free technical support 24.7 and with our unlimited package, you get up to 4 additional email addresses and our NitroDial accelerator for free.

Payment of Fees
Accounts are billed on a monthly basis. You may pay your bill by check or credit card. We accept Master Card, VISA, American Express, Discover and Diners Club. If you choose to have your credit card charged automatically on a monthly basis, it will be done by the 5th of each month.

Cancellations
This Agreement for the use of the Service will be in effect from the date you call in and acquire an email address. Termination of this Agreement and use of the Service needs to be requested by the account holder in the form of a written notice (via e-mall, fax or U.S. mail) or phone call to bright.net Ohio. Termination requests must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. EST on the last business day of each month in order to be effective for the next month. This Agreement and your use of the Service may be terminated by bright.net at any time with or without notice to you for any reason, including, without limitation, for lack of use, nonpayment of fees, or if bright.net believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of this Agreement. Please note: Service cannot be terminated by contacting technical support. The lack of use of the service does NOT constitute a termination notice.

Referrals
bright.net Ohio has a referral program that allows you and a friend or family member to earn free Internet service. If you sign up another customer, within the bright.net Ohio service area, and return a bright.net referral coupon to our office, each of you will receive a credit, for one month of service, on your account. This credit is based on the hourly package both of you are signed up for. Coupons are sent out with each new customer package or can be requested by calling the office at 800-831-6099 or emailing billing@bright.net. This offer is limited to one referral credit per new customer.

Use of Services
bright.net does not restrict the customer from any portion of the Internet.
