"Merry Heart" Ministries
This web site is an extension of the ministry of Al
& Dawn Braun.
We were involved in clown ministry for about 12 years.
We were children's pastors at a church in
Ridgeville Corners,Ohio for 5 years. We resigned our
pastors position in January 1998 to devote more
time to our out reach ministry. In September 1998
we started attending Family Christian Center in
Defiance, Ohio where we did some teaching in childrens church
and started a puppet ministry. In June of 2004 we accepted the
Childrens Pastors position at Community Christian Center
in Hicksville,Ohio where we are also
in charge of the prayer ministry.
Our clown ministry was called the "Merry Heart Clowns",
Proverbs 17:22 says "A MERRY HEART does good like a
medicine."NKJV. We are primarily an evangelistic ministry.
Although we rarely dress up as clowns anymore,we still do
our "Tricky Business" Magic Show. We present the gospel
through various means which may include
gospel magic (illusions), skits, sign-mime, dowel rod and
balloon sculpture. We have ministered on the streets
in inner city projects, community events,county fairs,
nursing homes,and many churches.
