Without repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ, none shall be saved.

Christ saves sinners. Salvation is of the Lord. I know, there was blood shed, and I am glad at that, for that blood is sufficient for my sins, and yours. One must come to the knowledge of the truth, and there is the work of the Holy Spirit, resulting in our obtaining faith. By the work of the Holy Spirit, our being born again, we are given faith and so realize our salvation. Faith is by the operation of God (Col 2:12),

Colossians 2:12
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

and our believing, coming to faith is the work of God. Not all have faith (Heb 4:2; 2Thess 2:12-13; 2Thess 3:2),

Hebrews 4:2
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

2 Thessalonians 2:12-13
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

2 Thessalonians 3:2
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

so not all believe. I thank my God, there was blood shed, and there I find the cause of my salvation. Without repentance and faith none shall be saved. The object of faith, and not the faith itself, is the cause of my salvation. Salvation is of the Lord.

The fearful, and unbelieving will not approach our Lord, refuse to believe, and so have their part according as it is written,

Revelation 21:8
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

To every person we are to proclaim, "Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:21), for "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." But how shall they call on Him if the have not believed? How shall they believe if they have not heard? Therefore is our duty made clear, to proclaim the acceptable day of the Lord to every person, for today is the day of salvation for every one that believes, and Whosoever shall call upon His name shall be saved.

Acts 20:21
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

I say those chosen to salvation shall obtain faith, belief of the truth, that through sanctification of the Spirit (Col 2:12; 2Thess 2:13) and shall most certainly be saved.

John 6:37-40
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Come and hear, all ye that fear God,
and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Psalms 66:16
