By God's grace, still presenting the same old message from the same old Book...

The Bible is the Book of books, and is the One Book we should strive to understand. When I say Bible I mean that collection of sixty six books from Genesis to Revelation, given by inspiration of God and divinely preserved. Those words are available in the English language, in the version commonly known as the Authorized King James Bible.

By faith I hold The King James Bible as Received text, i.e., Textus Receptus, thus a valid source to use for translating to other languages. By faith I hold The King James Bible as providentially preserved Scripture, inerrant, infallible, and inspired, the word of God.

Charles Spurgeon says, “...[O]ur Authorized Version . . . will never be bettered, as I judge, till Christ shall come....” (Spurgeon’s Autobiography, Vol 4, Chap 100). There is not a valid way, no proven source to use that conclusively validates changes to the readings of the King James Bible, based on different "translation" techniques or different translation sources. God’s word does not change.

We have a translation, but we have more than a simple translation. The word of God is living, and does not change. While we don't have the actual copy as first penned, in the English we have the preserved word of God . There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

Does every language and every place have a true and complete Bible? No, for there are contradictions between various versions, but the voice is heard, the word of God, by those with ears to hear. Now the following words of this paragraph will deal with regeneration. It is admitted by me those of non-English speaking language, that there are multitudes saved, and those never having seen a King James Version or having never heard the King James Version, but they nevertheless heard the words of God.

In the grand old Bible, regarding our regeneration, it is written, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1Pet 1:23) Paul tells us the word is corruptible. Not that our dear King James version is corrupted, and if it were but it is not, we are born again, not by corruptible, but by incorruptible, by the Holy Spirit.

Paul gives warning the word of God can be corrupted (2Cor 2:17), but Christ Himself is incorruptible (Heb 1:12; 13:8) (same yesterday today forever), so their is confirmation the rebirth is not accomplished by the hearing of the word that is preached, but rather, one is born of God Himself (Eph 2:1; Tit 3:5; 1John 2:29; 5:1; John 1:13; Rom 2:28-29). Faith is fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22). One is born again, by the Spirit. The new birth imparts Eternal Life and new desires (Ps 110:3; 37:31; 1John 3:6,9; 5:18; Ps 119:165; 2Cor 5:17; Eze 36:26; John 3:6; 10:28; Tit 1:2; 3:7; Rom 12:3). Regeneration is accomplished without the use of means, and there is conversion wrought by that new birth, while subsequent conversion is expected to be accomplished by the use of means, such as the written word or preaching.

The word is corrupted by some while they preach, and by others by the various translations, and by yet others through incorrectly recording them through printed sermons. While there are faulty readings, contradictions, that is no concern regarding our being regenerated. It is not to be denied there are various and sundry contradictory readings. Regeneration and conversion are separate and distinct. Truly, we are born again by incorruptible, not the corruptible.

A message of comfort from the Scriptures,
that we through patience and comfort
of the scriptures might have hope.

Come and hear, all ye that fear God,
and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Psalms 66:16
