By God's grace, still presenting the same old message from the same old Book...

It is amazing the increase in learning there is, and the way it is being used. These are the last days. People are . . . Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Tim 3:7) Consider the increase of the worldly wisdom that will never grasp the truths of God’s spiritual wisdom (1 Cor 2:14). With the increase of the worldly knowledge it is said, never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (cf John 3:7). This shows God's sovereign control, and should be an encouragement to the child of God, that our Lord is in control. He does all things well and makes no mistake.

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Things are turned about now, the wicked seeming to triumph

Malachi 3:15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

What man is he that feareth the LORD? Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD.

Malachi 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Psalms 25:12 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

A message of comfort from the Scriptures,
that we through patience and comfort
of the scriptures might have hope.

Come and hear, all ye that fear God,
and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Psalms 66:16
