Genesis 3:16
Genesis316
16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
KJB
I'm not going to address all that might come to mind, such as those that are described in Revelation 14:4; 1 Corinthians 7:25-26, 28; and 1 Timothy 4:1-4. Perhaps another time for those Scriptures. This letter of mine has to do with a look at some thoughts dealing with Genesis 3:16.
There are two sorts of people, the lost and saved, those to be with the Lord in heaven, and those to suffer eternity in hell fire, but all are conceived in sin, all are children of wrath by the first birth. There are those as all are, born of the flesh, but ye must be born again. There are not those born of the first birth of a different sort that are righteous, for there are none righteous, no not one.
Rom 3:9-12
9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
KJBEph 2:3
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
KJB
Because of sensibility, there was the shame manifest with Adam and Eve, Eve being the mother of all living, and I think that shame had to do with procreation of fallen man. The fall brought forth shame along with sorrow. The covering that dealing with conception occurred after the fall, and I think the shame was because of the sensibility of their own new fallen nature, and that they would bring forth after their kind, bringing forth of more fallen men, and conception before the fall would bring forth what was said to be very good, was after the fall not being after the order of things before the fall, after the sixth day, as it is written, And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Gen 1:31 KJB)
They were sensible of sin after the fall, and sensible that they would bring fallen men into the world. Even those partaking of natural use and the bringing a man into the world that is fallen and sinful, subject to death, and so far from the way of the creation as it was after the sixth day there is instead sorrow for those with sensibility. The natural pleasure of the act is offset by the conception, and the results are multiplied. Some forbid such things, denying their nature desires, forbidding to marry, but marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled. Apart from the sanctity of marriage and the stability from the family unit fulfillment of the desires would, due to multiplied conceptions leave a lack of order, thus desire is to be to a husband, and there we see the family unit initiated very early in the history of mankind. It is natural to have desire, and those that pretend otherwise deceive themselves.
Conception is a likely result from the end of the fulfilled desire, and the pleasure of that, so the family as defined by our God is instituted, that with desire of the woman to the husband, and the husband to love his wife. There is the family protected.
Conception brings about fallen men, the result of sin, not that the wedding bed is defiled for it is not, The covering is to abate the natural desire from being aroused for the results of fulfilling the desire bring forth conception.

3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
KJBGen 8:21
21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
KJBEph 2:3-5
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
KJB
We are conceived in sin, not that the act and pleasure resulting in conception is sin, but we ourselves are born sinners. We sin because we are sinners. As such we are not sinners because we sin, but we sin because we are sinners. We are sinners first and that is why we sin. We are conceived in sin. Our acts of sin do not make us sinners but we sin because we are sinners.

5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
