Without doubt I say, Jesus Saves. Is the Bible, the word of God, used in our being quickened? The Bible is the word of God, Scripture given by inspiration of God, the word of God that proceeds out of the mouth of God. While I do not believe the words themselves are the central cause of salvation, the words are used, according to the Bible, and accomplish that which God pleases, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto it was sent. Salvation is of the Lord.
Lazarus being dead nevertheless heard the word of God, and came forth from the grave.
John 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
So will the sinner dead in trespasses and sin hear the word and come forth, if God so please.
