Reaching forth...

By God's grace, still presenting the same message from the same Book...

One can only be saved by hearing God's word. As it is written, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Daily we hear things that are not profitable, but salvation is of the Lord. Being saved by hearing a small part of God's word does not make void any other of God's word, and does not legitimatize errant words that they should be counted as true.

2 Peter 3:8-9
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

In contrast, it is written,

All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
(John 10:8).

But the beloved hear the Lord, as it is written, "Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice." (John 18:37); along with "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." (John 10:16); and "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" (John 10:27); "And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers." (John 10:4-5)

I am not saying one cannot be saved if they have not heard the KJB itself, and I am not saying a person cannot be saved if they cannot read the KJB itself. I would not defend such a foolish thing and I have not said that. But what I am saying, there are those things being said that are contradictory to the meanings, doctrines and theology in the King James Authorized Bible. Those things contradictory in meanings, doctrines and theology are not the same thing, as things different are not the same. Not one other English language Bible is the same in meanings, doctrines and theology as the KJB. Myself I count the King James version as wholly true and wholly complete. Other English versions contain truth, but are not wholly true and wholly complete. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. There is no other  source that could be quoted to verify that, apart from the Bible. Things different cannot each be true. Things different are not the same.

While daily we hear things that are not profitable, salvation is of the Lord. The KJB as I said before I believe is the true authoritative word of God. Only words with the authority of God have the blessing of God. The words of the KJB are the word of God, the KJB the complete and true record of the words of God. Other books, where they differ in meanings doctrines and theology present the problem. It is not the  areas that agree that is the problem but the areas that do not agree.

1 Peter 1:22-23
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The KJB received as the true authoritative word, then those books that have changed words to new meanings, different means, deleted words, changed meanings, changed doctrine and changed theology cannot be true. I say again, those books that have changed words to new meanings, deleted words, changed meanings, changed doctrine and changed theology cannot be true. There are instances of people being saved from a tract, a verse, even a dictionary, commentary or hymn book, or the other versions. But that does not make the tract, verse, dictionary, commentary, other version, or hymn book the complete Bible. One can certainly be saved without hearing the complete Bible. If one thousand verses are presented, and only one of those is the word of God, that one verse of the word of God is not made void by the corrupted words. But the true words do not make the corrupt words legitimate. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Reference to 1 Corinthians 5:6 helps explain. "Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?" (1 Cor 5:6)

But there is a contrast to that, but the contrast does not make legitimate the corrupted words. As ever, things that are different are not the same. We are to turn away from fables. The contrast is shown by the Scriptures, as it is written, "Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened." (Matt 13:33 KJB; Luke 13:20-21). As we grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we find we reject those evil things we once found pleasant. As we grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, we will be casting off those things contrary to the faith. We are never given license to continue in sin. For good reason we are warned, "Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees." (Matt 16:6); "But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness." (2 Tim 2:16 KJB); "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump." (Gal 5:9) ; "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners." (1 Cor 15:33 KJB). We should settle in our mind the matter of the Bible.

The authority and excellence of the word of God:

Ps 119:162
162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

Luke 5:5
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Romans 10:17
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The wicked regard not the word. While the wicked go about to transform themselves, I think many otherwise honest believers have been deceived by smooth words to follow their path.

The sure word of God shows that reward due the wicked, but the modern books with their contradictory words lesson this reward. See Psalms 9:17 in some of the various corrupted translations. It would be better for the wicked, the way some of the corrupted translations read, but God's word is not bound.

Psalms 9:17
17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

All go to the grave, so what is different with the wicked?

Ps 9:17
17 The wicked return to the grave,
all the nations that forget God.
NIV

Ps 9:17
17 The wicked will go down to the grave.
This is the fate of all the nations who ignore God.
NLT

There is no word of higher authority than the word of God.

There is no word of higher authority than the word of God, so certainly there are no better words.

In 1952, the RSV based on the altered Greek was promoted, saying, "Things equal to the same thing are equal to each other." Yet that RSV was based on a different foundation, not using the same as the KJB but instead the foundation now used for all the many new versions frequently appearing today. Using sophistry some go about spreading the notion things different are really not different. While some use sophistry to say things different are the same, I say clearly, things different are not the same. If there is no difference, then there is certainly much dispute with those trying to change the version being used. No need to change if they are the same.

In the letter to Thyatira, Revelation 2:18-29 KJB, Jesus made clear He is the Head of the churches, and no one will replace Him. He makes mention of His eyes, like unto a flame of fire, to say He is the one that sees and makes judgement of the thoughts and intents of the heart. His feet are mentioned, as these seemed to forget that Jesus walked in their midst. Jesus did not assign another to serve vicariously, His own position. How do we know these things? By taking heed to the very words of God.

Even among those of like mind there are those of different levels of understanding. Order is not to say all must be at the same level of understanding, or spiritual maturity. A saved person can be very ignorant, and a saved person can be very stubborn. Church discipline is not to assign one their eternal judgment but is to instruct, with the hope of restoration.

But not all are sheep. Would you walk peacefully with a barking and fighting dog, or with a ravening wolf? But the erring one, the wandering sheep is rescued and not one lost. Jesus saves.

1 Cor 11:19
19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

Without holding forth clearly a standard in reputation for wisdom and honour the stinking savour seems less ugly (Ex 8:22-24; Isa 7:18-19). The KJB is such a standard.

Ye may know that ye have eternal life. Do you believe that?

1 John 5:10-13
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Do you believe this? Is this for you, or are you destined for the unknown?

1 John 5:20
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

The inconsistency between the many versions is found by comparing verse by verse, word by word. Indeed, many say this version or that is the better reading as they compare the versions. But there is no standard. Compare the verses from one translation with another to reveal the difference, and you will see firsthand there is difference. New books are presented with the claim they are better and more accurate, yet they don't agree from version to version. That they are different is certain.

Some replace faith with scholastics. Some do not receive the word of God.

Consider that it is written:

John 17:8
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

The word of God is pure. I have a Bible and I am able to read it and witness to others from it, and know I am presenting what God has said. I use the KJB.

Things different are not the same.

Deceit And Falsehood I Abhor

I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love. Psalms 119:163 Authorized King James Version

Deceit and falsehood I abhor,
But love Thy law, Thy truth revealed;
My steadfast hope is in Thy Word;
Thou art my Refuge and my Shield;
The paths of sin I have not trod,
But kept the precepts of my God.

According to Thy gracious Word
Uphold me, Lord, deliver me;
O do not let me be ashamed
Of patient hope and trust in Thee;
O hold Thou me, and I shall stand
And ever follow Thy command.

The froward Thou hast set at naught
Who vainly wander from the right;
The wicked Thou dost count as dross;
Thy just decrees are my delight;
For fear of Thee I stand in awe
And reverence Thy most holy law.

Come and hear, all ye that fear God,
and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Psalms 66:16
