A Cuterebra is embedded in the neck of this cat. Cuterebra is a "warble" or larva of a fly that lays it's eggs around rabbit dens. It accidentally gets on cats or dogs and embeds in the neck area. However, it can end up in the brain and other areas of the cat or dog.
