The Great American "Bash" was created by John MacAulay of Dayton Ohio, USA.  It was performed on the 5th of July as an aftermath of the 4th of July and the celebrations that go along with it.  The 4th of July celebrations emphasize all that is right with The United States of America.  The Great American "Bash" shows that all is not right.  Since performance Art and Performance Poetry has such a small audience in the Midwest the performances were taken to the masses.  The masses that gather in Dance Clubs such as the 1470 West in Dayton Ohio.  The performances were between bands.
