"WHAT IS IT?"  ANSWERS

(A) Wicker Wheel & Dress Guard

It is a wicker wheel and dress guard.  It was placed on the wheel of a carriage so that when women got in and out of a carriage they wouldn't soil their dresses if they rubbed against the wheel.

(B)     Aluminum Tail Fastener.

For keeping the tail up without binding the dock.

Fastener just before closing the clasp with separate strands around the post.

(C)   Folding Seat

If you guessed that it is a folding seat you are right.  It had so many uses in a buggy or sleigh and other uses as is listed below.

It is the only practical third seat for a vehicle.  It is the cleanest, best and most artistic hassock on the market. It is a foot rest that will not slip away from the used.  It is a Child's chair which can be recklessly handled without injury to itself or the children, and forms an excellent substitute for a high chair at the table or a portable seat for fishermen either on shore or in a boat.

(D)  A pair of eye shields to be worn in windy and dusty weather.  Our club would look real cute on a drive wearing these.

(E) Foot Warmer:  Lehman's Patent Foot Warmers and Fuel.  Can be used in the carriage, sleigh, or house.  One block of fuel will burn slowly 8 hours.

(F)   If you guessed that it is a whip you are right.  It is a Ladies Parasol Whip, a whip and also a parasol.

"Russia Leather Handle, Electro and Silver Mounts.  Ivory Handle, Electro and Silver Mounts.  Silk and Silk Lining,  any color"

(G)  Patent Leather Toe Guard.

It looks like a basic horse blanket but is actually a patent leather toe guard to put over the side of the carriage box to prevent toe marks when getting in.  I have never seen one of these.  I imagine that they are very rare.
