the Auglaize County Council on Aging.
Some individuals and
families in our community do not have the extra money to have a nice
Thanksgiving dinner. That is why we
provide dinner baskets. We collect the
special Thanksgiving foods from area churches and organizations. We are currently providing 50+ baskets each
year. Mercy Unlimited is grateful for
God’s goodness and happy to share that same gratitude with these families.
On the third Monday of each December, Mercy Unlimited participates with local individuals, families, organizations and churches to provide a community Christmas dinner. This service began in 1995, feeding 80 people. Now, we are serving 350+ individuals. This outreach is provided free of charge. Entertainment and gifts are also supplied. Over 100 volunteers attend each year serving food and talking with our guests. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our office.
